The Admissions and Records Office processes applications and registration, and maintains all student academic records including grades. It also provides admissions services and processes certificate and graduation applications.
If you have taken lower-division courses at other accredited colleges or universities, the Admissions and Records Office is the place where your transcripts will be evaluated to determine prerequisite eligibility prior to your registration date. While unofficial transcripts can be helpful in determining which classes to take, only official transcripts can be evaluated for credit towards graduation requirements.
Official transcript refers to an educational institution’s certified statement of a student’s academic record. It typically contains the institution’s seal and the signature of the Registrar. Official transcripts must be sealed. Contact any previous colleges to order official transcripts. Keep in mind that it may take up to two weeks for official transcript requests to be processed, so request them early!
